Prepare Your Facility: Active Assailant

What to do during active shooter.JPG

In the event of an active assailant situation, it is often impossible to evacuate everyone from a building, especially in healthcare environments.

Tackling tough scenarios such as ICU, Long Term Care, and Dialysis patients who cannot be left alone in an active assailant situation, this video series offers best practices during such threats. Also covered is the recovery period after the assailant has been neutralized.

These training videos were developed in partnership with the public health department, health facility administration, law enforcement, and many other experts on this subject.

These videos discuss and illustrate graphic scenes that may upset some viewers. Viewer discretion is advised.
