The MESH ICS/NIMS course is designed to provide instruction on the Incident Command System (ICS), which is a standardized, and widely applicable management system designed to enable effective and efficient incident management by integrating a combination of resources within a common organizational structure. Participants will learn how to identify the key concerns associated with an incident without sacrificing attention to any component of the command system. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to obtain ICS-100 (Introduction to ICS) and ICS-700 (National Incident Management System (NIMS)) certification by successfully completing online examinations provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. This course is free to all participants.
